If you want to learn Amazon Web Services (AWS) for free - this is for you. I constantly bookmark Cybersecurity learning materials, Twitter threads, and random resources I find all across social media platforms. Here are my current list of free resources to learn and experiment with AWS:

AWS Free Tier & Skill Builder

The AWS free tier and AWS’s skill builder are a great combination. The free tier option is designed to make gaining practical skills that are also accessible. AWS skill builder is free and self-paced. Even when you feel you’ve mastered an element of AWS, it’s a great resource to come back to.

Flaws Cloud

Flaws Cloud is a great resource to get hands-on and learn the cloud. I found it to be especially helpful for learning AWS in a capture-the-flag fashion.

PluralSight

Pluralsight’s AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner offerings are popular and start free. These courses are for those looking to get the CCP certification.

AWS Workshops

AWS workshop allows you to follow and participate in hands-on workshops. These are all designed to introduce practical skills. It’s always great to learn skills rather than replaying lectures.

Learn to Cloud

Learn to cloud is open-source and free. If you’re looking for cloud fundamentals and breakdowns then this is great.

These resources are just some that I’ve been aware of for a while, so please don’t be limited by them. Of course, I’ll continue to write, whether here or on Twitter, about cloud security resources.
