Note to Self: Let Nature Win

This week’s Unlearning post is more of a reminder than a transfer of particular knowledge. I hope it’s of use.

When uncertain, confused, or simply bored: seek refuge in nature and let the breeze of the trees, birds chirping, and smell of fresh rain calm you. Because I have found this to be effective and gentle.

Chasing progress is as dangerous as not making any progress, for the mind needs peace in between. In this pursuit of productivity, at times driving about 45 minutes out of the city is the only answer.

It’s that gentle breeze and a little driving that is enough. Even in the hectic moments and days that follow. It’s more than enough.
