Unlearning Conference and Web 3.0 Culture

Unlearning Conference 2022

Web 3.0 and Tech are still inaccessible to a large population of people. This is even more true for diverse communities and women. Although all of this new technology is exciting, from non-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrency, to everything Web 3.0 - we have to make sure that this information is accessible and immersive for every member in such communities. Unlearning Conference aims to be the culmination of all of this.

Unlearning + Community

The last few years have not only been Covid-filled but the way we learn and connect online has changed as well. Communities have formed in the pursuit of belonging in this new technology, all while building with people we identify with. It’s more important than ever to be present and authentic.

In-person events are critical for pushing that vision forward. Since the beginning, Unlearning has been about educating and involving diverse individuals in Web 3.0 centered on the idea that we are better off together than on our own. This means that we need more women and individuals with various backgrounds to reach the goals of a true equitable environment.

Unlearning + Culture

By enriching a sense of community and common goals, there must be a deliberate effort to both define and set forth the culture of this NFT and crypto space. A cynic might disagree, but I believe it’s possible to arrive at a point where we set the tone for what’s to come and how education can be a tool for onboarding culture as well as people. It’s not of benefit to pretending that the status quo is our satisfaction with regard to representation, opportunity, and access for women and diverse communities.

Now is the time to present an effective way to connect and build community, our Unlearning Conference in June will allow for that and foster fervor and wonderful curiosity.

Visit Unlearning Conference to attend or speak (or both!). We hope to see you there.
